Staffordshire Bushcraft CIC is a community-rooted organisation committed to reconnecting veterans and individuals of all backgrounds with nature through traditional bushcraft, outdoor education, and sustainable living. As a Community Interest Company, our focus is on social impact—delivering inclusive, hands-on experiences that build confidence, resilience, and well-being across all ages and abilities.

Drawing on Staffordshire’s rich rural heritage and deep ties to the land, our nature-based school offers a meaningful path for veterans and others to rediscover purpose, connection, and healing. Through immersive learning in woodland skills and the rhythms of the natural world, we create a powerful bridge between history, personal growth, and new opportunities—fostering self-reliance, community, and a lasting bond with nature.

Bushcraft in the Heart of Orange Hayes Wood: Learn, Connect, Thrive

Orange Hayes Wood, located near the historic market town of Stone in Staffordshire, is a peaceful and scenic woodland known for its vibrant autumn colours—especially the striking oranges that inspired its name. Surrounded by open farmland, it offers a quiet escape for seasonal walks, informal bushcraft, and wildlife observation. Its proximity to Stone, with its canal heritage and medieval charm, makes the woodland both accessible and rich in local character, providing a perfect blend of rural tranquility and natural beauty within Staffordshire’s green heart.

All participants will meet at a nearby location prior to the course's start and will be notified via e-mail upon purchasing.
